Habitat

This species inhabits rocky reefs and coastal waters in the Western Central Pacific, including areas around Japan, the East China Sea, and the Southern Korean Peninsula, at depths of 10 to 200 meters. It prefers areas with abundant cover like crevices and boulders for hiding and ambush hunting.

Diet
