Habitat

This species inhabits shallow coastal waters, often around rocky reefs, seagrass beds, and sandy bottoms in the Western Pacific. It prefers temperate to subtropical regions with depths ranging from 1 to 50 meters, commonly found near Japan, Korea, and the East China Sea.

Diet

They feed on plant material and small marine organisms like skeleton shrimp.

Behavior
