Diet
This species primarily feeds on hard-shelled invertebrates such as mollusks, crustaceans, and echinoderms, using its powerful beak-like jaws to crush shells. It forages mainly on the ocean floor during nighttime hours. Feeding behavior includes scavenging and actively hunting in seagrass beds or coral reefs.
Behavior
Spotted Burrfish are generally solitary and territorial, often hiding in crevices or under rocks during the day and becoming more active at night.
