Overview
The Philippine brown deer is a diminutive, compactly-built deer with relatively short antlers that only reach 20 to 40 centimetres in length. In general, this species is entirely brown, with the exception of the underside of the tail, which is white.

Habitat
Adaptable to wide variety of habitats, as long as they have cover of some sort. Distribution- Throughout most of the Philippines, and introduced to Guam, Federated States of Micronesia, Northern Mari.
Diet
This animal both grazes and browses, as well as forages on crops where available.
Behavior
Little is known about this animal's behavior in the wild.
Hunting
This animal is hunted indigenously, and often excessively.
Conservation Status
Listed as Vulnerable by IUCN, due to abusive hunting and habitat degradation.
