Habitat
This species is a migratory species; In the dry season they can be found inhabiting larger river channels, whereas during wetter months they can be found in flooded wetlands such as rainforest and smaller river tributaires.
Diet
Zooplankton, worms, algae.
Behavior
They are not a very aggressive fish, although they will feed on small slow-moving fish.
