Habitat
Nearly all types from rain forest to subdesert, and from lowland to mountains.
Diet
Entirely carnivorous, preying on animals up to the size of small antelopes. May also take birds, fish, and insects.

Solitary and primarily nocturnal. Excellent climber and swimmer. Highly adaptable predator.
